Account Deletion Request
At Kidzofy, we respect your privacy and your right to control your data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so either through the app or by contacting us directly.
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
You can delete your account directly within the Kidzofy app:
Navigate to Settings within the app and select "Delete Account" to initiate the deletion process instantly.
Option 2: Request via Email
If you prefer, you can request account deletion by emailing us. Please send your request from the email address associated with your account to:
Required Information
To process your request, please include the following information in your email:
- Your child's name(s) as they appear in the app
- The email address associated with your Kidzofy account
- A brief confirmation that you wish to permanently delete your account
Processing Time
We will process your account deletion request within 30 days in compliance with GDPR regulations. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion has been completed.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Child profiles and all associated data
- Progress tracking and assessment results
- Writing samples and practice history
- Rewards, gems, and achievements
- iCloud leaderboard scores
- Parent account information
- App usage analytics (anonymized data may be retained)
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, all data listed above will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered. There is no way to restore a deleted account or retrieve any of its data. Please make sure you have backed up any important information before proceeding.
Data Retention Policy
Upon receiving your deletion request, we will remove all personally identifiable information from our systems within 30 days. Some anonymized data may be retained for analytical purposes, but this data cannot be linked back to you or your child.
